This beautiful cathedral, the oldest Anglican church in Bangalore, is situated on the busy St Mark's road. Built between 1808 and 1812, this structure was inspired by the architecture of St Paul's Cathedral in London – featuring large stained-glass windows, impressive woodwork, pews and an impressively scaled organ. The grand porch, richly carved enrance door and the huge heavy cross all add to the magnificence of the church. St Mark's also has a marble altar and pulpit and seats 700 with capacity for a 50 member choir.
