Kindly note, that effective 16th January 2009, guests flying out of Bangalore International Airport are required to pay a User Development Fee (UDF) of Rs. 260 (inclusive of taxes). This fee is collected directly by Bangalore International Airport. However, children below the age of 2 years are exempted from this fee

The Bangalore International Airport Tax - UDF is being levied for the provision of passenger amenities, services and facilities and will be used for the development, management, maintenance and operation of the airport. The fee has been approved by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

UDF is payable at the special counters located at the entrance of the terminal building. Payment can be made in cash, debit card or credit card (Visa/Mastercard only). If you are paying by cash, you are requested to carry the exact change, for quick processing. Also, transactions during peak hours (i.e. 0600 hours-1000 hours & 1730 hours-2030 hours) may take upto 10 minutes whereas, it will take 3-5 minutes at other times. You will be required to produce the receipt of payment at the time of entering the terminal gates.
